About me

He was born on September 21, 1956 in Samsun. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Samsun. He was accepted to Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1973. After his graduation in 1979, he worked at Mürefte Health Center in Tekirdağ for 1.5 years. In the following period, he worked as a government physician in Malkara. In 1981, he started his specialization at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, specializing in Anesthesia and Reanimation. Then he completed it successfully in 1985. Later, he started his Ear Nose and Throat specialization at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. After completing his specialization in 1989, he completed his military service as an Ear Nose and Throat Specialist at Cyprus Kyrenia Military Hospital.

After his military service, he started working as a freelance physician. He worked at Şişli Osmanoğlu Hospital. Simultaneously, he served at Yakacık State Railways Hospital, formerly known as Yakacık, in 1994. At the same time, he continued his medical practice. He worked as an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist at Kartal SSK Hospital. He retired in 2007 at Kartal Yavuz Selim State Hospital, under his new name. After his retirement, he worked at Private Balat Hospital for two years. He also served at Private Pendik Şifa Hospital for 11 years. Then he opened his own practice in Pendik.

Meanwhile, he attended the National Ear, Nose and Throat Congress every year. He received cadaver training on endoscopic sinus surgery twice. Since rhinoplasty is a special area of interest, he attended relevant trainings since 1991. He performed mainly rhinoplasty surgeries. He started rhinoplasty surgeries in 1991. He started endoscopic sinus surgery in 1995.

He is married and has three children. His interests include the sea, traveling, visiting historical places and playing chess. He enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys reading books on various subjects. Recent Turkish history and novels on different subjects are among these.

He is currently working as a private practice physician. He attended numerous congresses and symposiums about his expertise. He participated regularly in order to update his knowledge, obtain new information and follow the innovations closely. He performed more than ten thousand surgeries during his 33-year career.
